Zoe Bonini

When Zoe Bonini was back home in Indianapolis, she hit the local library and started reading up on the good old days of burlesque. Charmed by the fashion, the glamour and the star power that dancers like Gypsy Rose Lee enjoyed during the heyday of the 1940s and '50s, she moved to New Orleans and decided to get in on the action! Armed with glamorous and a dazzling costumes, she found the perfect act help her bump and grind her way into the hearts of New Orleans audiences: roller skating burlesque! An accomplished world-class roller figure skater (Zoe won a silver medal at the 1987 Pan-Am Games!), Zoe's routine can definitely be described as Heaven on Wheels!
