A sultry, sizzlin' celebration of burlesque and dance!Tease-O-Rama encompassed three wild-n-wicked nights of burlesque mania in New Orleans, LA on May 18, 19, & 20, 2001. The whole event culminated on Sunday night with a wild blow-out Gala Showcase at the infamous Shim Sham Club!
Ah yes, we journed back to a time when wild and bawdy dancers were viewed through the smoky haze of cigars and lipstick-kissed cigarettes. They shocked. They titillated. They teased. Draped in boas and swimming in sequins, the bold and bodacious beauties of yesteryear shimmied their way into the hearts of audiences everywhere. And they did it again at the FIRST EVER convention of Burlesque dance - Tease-O-Rama 2001!
Each evening dazzled with a unique and astonishing array of dance troupes, DJs and musicians from all over the country. Whew! We are only starting to recover!
