The Devil-Ettes
Take 14 of San Francisco's spunkiest gals, add a pinch of glitter, throw on a pulsating sixties soundtrack and you have The Devil-Ettes! The Devil-Ettes are a unique, high-energy, synchronized dance troupe who love to go-go, jerk, watusi, and monkey for the masses. Their goal? To keep alive the lost art of go-go! Best described as "John Waters meets The Rockets," these gorgeous gals perform in elaborate costumes to rare and unusual music from the 50s and 60s. Two-part glamour and one-part kitsch, The Devil-Ettes are a saucy, sultry cavalcade of non-stop go-go action. With names like The Salty Pirate, The Bombshell, The Hell Cat and The Assassin, the Devil-Ettes put on a wild-n-groovy show that has to be seen to be believed!
The Devil-Ettes have appeared twice at the infamous Las Vegas Grind (an international celebration of 60s garage/trash/rock!), have been featured in several major papers and magazines and are the subject of their very own documentary!
