Dottie Lux

Just like The City By The Bay, Dottie Lux is known for her dizzying hills and dangerous curves. Well, hello San Francisco! She's here. Hailing from New York City, Dottie is known to cause a rucus with a horn, shake it up and bring bawdy brouhaha to well known stages like Coney Island Side Show, The Supper Club and Bowery Poetry Club. Dottie started performing burlesque in 2001 and founded Red Hots Burlesque shortly after. Red Hots Burlesque saw 6 successful years in New York city performing weekly, monthly and for special events all over the North East. Also an educator, Dottie has performed and lectured at NYU and Bard University. With Dottie Lux came Red Hots Burlesque, which is currently San Francisco's *only* weekly burlesque show. Dottie continues to make SF stages slightly more dangerous and daring. Dottie is also an art model and was the very first Dr.Sketchy's model.
