How to get Around?
San Francisco International Airport

This major international hub is located 15 miles from downtown San Francisco. Average Cab fare to downtown SF: $30-50

Shuttles

You can also take a shuttle from the airport for cheap. Shuttle vans congregate on the second level of SFO above the baggage claim area. Advance reservations guarentee a seat but they aren't required. Usually about $15-20 per trip. Bay Shuttle: 415.564.3400 SuperShuttle: 800.258.3826

Oakland International Airport

If you're coming from the Oakland airport, it's not too difficult to take a bus to the Oakland Coliseum BART station. The airport has AirBART buses that cost $2 (purchased right next to baggage claim and in the BART station for returning tickets) and get you from the airport to coliseum BART station.

Homobiles

a 24/7 queer car service that caters to all folks around the city. The volunteer collective of designated drivers operates for a suggested donation of $1 a minute. You can text your address with cross street and name to 415-574-5023

Taxis

Taxis are the way to travel around SF. They are pretty cheap and somewhat easy to flag down. A safe bet is to catch a taxi lined up outside the lobby of a major hotel, or phone one ahead of time. Parking

With narrow streets and steep hills San Francisco can be a challenge in a car. While street parking is nearly impossible there are garages throught-out the city which make the process more manageable but expensive!
