Dominique Trixx Dominique Trixx didn't jump out of a nocturnal scene in Paris in the 30's, or a cabaret in Germany in the 20's, or a Spaghetti Western, for that matter, but she fancies herself a keeper of the torch by expanding on imagery from those eras (and anywhere else, actually) with original flair. Employing burlesque as a medium, she creates jaunty, slinky and sultry powerhouse performances. Dominique Trixx is a Starlet in Michelle L'amour's Star and Garter Burlesque and has been performing burlesque professionally since June 2006, under the tutelage of Michelle L'amour. Dominique likes to define her performances as little mise-en-scenes, complete with strong characters and a good dose of "nudge nudge wink wink" tease and classic burlesque - Straight up as well as on the rocks, if you will. She recently performed at the Toronto Burlesque Festival and at the opening of Studio L'amour, Michelle L'amour's new studio in Chicago. She performs several times a month in Chicago. In addition to these and other Michelle L'amour productions, she is a guest with groups such as Girlie Q Live and Varietease, and joyfully graced the stages (or risers), and sometimes even bartops, at the Empty Bottle, The Abbey, Strawdog Theatre, Chopin Theatre, Motel Bar, Villians, Five Star Bar, The Spot, Heart of Gold Loft Party, Kira's Oasis in Dayton, Ohio, and Urban DeComp Chicago.
